D-2. Logistics system and supporting systems
The figure below is based on the UNDRR 120, MCII 112 UNCTAD 116, UNEP 98 guidelines, ITF’s framework 8 and the KCC white paper 5. The logistics system consists of network, infrastructure, operations and workforce, and a disruption affects the flow of goods, finance or information and data. Supporting systems include societal, regulatory, financial, physical, and nature-based.
